Postby frank worrall » Wed Feb 04, 2009 6:05 pm

With the cancellation of A.Js. Minehead Reunion 2009, due to lack of numbers, what kind of Reunion are we really looking for, and would SUPPORT. Over to you for ideas.

There is already a Butlins Reunion already waiting for any BygoneButlin members who wish to attend.

lts at the Britannia Grand Hotel,Scarborough April 24th -27th 2009

Details, prices etc are already on this Forum under REDCOAT REUNIONS

For those who just wish for a reasonably Quiet weekend l can recommend it , just chatting about memories showing photos, and joining in the Saturday night Redcoat Cabaret or just watching ,after a Celebration Dinner ,one can also join in all the Hotels Entertainment if wished

l've been a few times although l really enjoyed the last one best as l had some Skegness Redcoats friends there ,other years l went on my own.

For me a reunion is a time for getting together and talking over old times. A social occasion with good friends old and new. The Scarbougough do sounds great. An old type Butlins holiday sounds fabulous, but for me, it's it is the type of theme holiday Bourne should be looking at doing.

Hi Catmad and Skegred, seams no time since Marion and I met you at the Skegness Reunion last year, we so enjoyed meeting you both. We would have liked to have spent more time talking to you and all the other great Reds, and their partners and friends, such a great bunch of people, but didnt seam to get the time. Scarborough sounds very interesting.

The thought of spending a weekend in a hotel at Scarborough with such a glamorous young lady as yourself, is hard to resist, and Marion says the men werent that bad either. Weve nearly made our minds up, and will have to ring up for a booking form.
